New Delhi-based independent streetwear brand Almost Gods plans to open its first UK store in London.
The brand opened its debut flagship store in Delhi spread across 400 sq ft stone-carved space inspired by the Nabatean architecture of Petra, Jordan.
The store features a giant griffin in mid-flight bursting out of the rocky walls.

It adorns Nabatean architectural design elements like wall carvings and stacked rock structures throughout.
The columns flanking the griffin are inspired by the Broken Column at Ephesus in Turkey.

The store was set up within a period of five months.
It has a-sized mock-up created out of polystyrene, inclusive of moulds for each separate element from the body of the griffin, wings, columns, and broken niches.
The store also has a patio space for events, installations, live performances and showcases.
