D2C brand Almo raises funds

26 May 2022, Mumbai:

Direct to consumer (D2C) brand selling men’s innerwear, Almo has raised $2 million towards the pre-Series A funding round led by Infection Point Ventures.

The company will use the funds to bolster its branding and marketing efforts along with setting up its R&D lab.

Investors such as LetsVenture, AngelList India, and other angels also participated in the round.

Founded in June 2020 by Abhishek Shah, Muskaan Jain, and ChhaviBhardwaj, Almo sells an essential wear range spanning underwear, topwear, loungewear, and winter wear.

The brand aims to cross Rs 100 crore in revenue by the end of the current calendar year.

Almo plans to diversify into international markets this year through Amazon's Global Selling Propel Accelerator program.

The company will continue strengthening its team and brand to scale across various online marketplaces, says Abhishek Shah, co-founder, and CEO.
