Standardized Sizes for apparel, and footwear; India Approaches Standardized Body Sizes; Standardized body sizes for the apparel industry in India are approaching finalization, as Union Textiles Minister Piyush Goyal revealed.

Union Textiles Minister Reveals

A nationwide survey conducted by faculty members from the National Institute of Fashion Technology comprehensively covered all states and garnered praise from Goyal during a press conference at the BJP headquarters.

Approval for Nationwide Implementation

Once approved, these standardized sizes will be implemented across the country.

Goyal also acknowledged that the standardization of footwear sizes in India would require a little more time but assured that it would be accomplished in due course.

The efforts to establish consistent sizes aim to enhance the clothing shopping experience for consumers and promote uniformity in the industry.
