Background of conference
India's textile sector, a cornerstone of the economy, meets significant domestic fabric demands and plays a pivotal role in job creation and export revenue. Amidst its economic contributions, the sector faces growing environmental concerns, emphasizing the urgency for sustainable practices. In the face of climate change and resource depletion, embracing circular economy principles—focusing on resource conservation, waste reduction, and exploring end- of-life alternatives—becomes imperative.
