*Goat Brand Labs has closed a $50 million round, in a mix of debt and equity funding. New investors Winter Capital, 9Unicorns, Venture Catalysts, Vivriti Capital, and Oxyzo joined the funding round, where most of its existing investors also participated, the company said in a statement. Flipkart Ventures and New York-based investment firm Tiger Global are among its existing investors.
Founded six years ago, G.O.A.T Brand Labs aims to hit the Rs 500-crore revenue target by 2025. The brand plans to build on its current product categories before expanding into others like jewelry, beauty, and personal care.
It is popular in India and the middle-east markets and is available through its own website, leading portals such as Myntra, Nykaa, Namshi (UAE), and a standalone store in Kolkata.
Founded in 2021 by Rishi Vasudev, ex-CEO of Lifestyle & Home Centre, and SVP at Flipkart & Myntra Fashion, and Rameswar Misra, Former Co-founder, Turms, G.O.A.T Brand Labs is backed by marquee investors like Tiger Global, Flipkart Ventures, Mayfield and Nordstar.
