With 4,856 customers and business inquiries worth Rs. 3,650 crore, the IHGF Delhi Fair comes to a close.
The 53rd edition of the IHGF Delhi Fair was a success, with 4,856 buyers and buying agents from 92 countries attending and generating business inquiries worth Rs. 3,650 crore.
Raj K Malhotra, Chairman, EPCH, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, DG, EPCH & Chairman, IEML; Members of the EPCH Committee of Administration; and RK Verma, Executive Director, EPCH were all present at the valedictory event. The IHGF Delhi Fair had 2,596 exhibitors and was well-attended by the worldwide sourcing community.

Many purchasers chose eco-friendly and compatible options in home and leisure items, putting sustainability at the forefront. Among other household items, European shoppers have found fascinating frequent use bags as alternatives to plastics.
"Our purchasers have been pleased to realize that we share the worldwide concern for environmental preservation," RK Malhotra remarked. They were impressed by the items on the show by our exhibitors, which all confirmed current and forthcoming trends in worldwide markets, making them in great demand."

"While many established players (manufacturers/exporters) in India have taken decisive steps to be socially and environmentally responsible and compliant, and are certified," Dr. Rakesh Kumar said, "there are many artisans and manufacturers at the grassroots level whose business model is essentially based on sustainability." Through this fair, we've brought them to the fore."
Exhibitors were also presented Ajai Shankar Memorial Awards for Best Design Display. Ayush Behal of Alpha Corporation, Ludhiana (Gold); Chirag and Sanya Parnami of Seen Unseen, Jaipur were awarded in the Home Textiles, Furnishings, and Floor Coverings category (Silver).
