Lenzing Group has announced the launch of its upgraded VEOCEL™ lyocell shortcut fibers for the flushable market.
The upgraded fibers have high dispersibility, making them ideal for use in flushable wipes, and an upgraded finish that enhances the efficiency of the wipe production process improves the processability of fibers, and helps to create higher-quality products.
The fibers are also carbon neutral, contributing to the global push to reduce the industry’s carbon footprint. The new finish of the upgraded fibers offers protection against mechanical stress during the wetland production process and improves web formation, resulting in an enhanced physical quality and appearance of the finished product.
