Tarun Tahiliani’s new store to have dedicated segments for bridals & brand archive

Besides housing menswear and women’s wear, luxury brand Tarun Tahiliani’s new flagship store in Mumbai’s Dubash House will have dedicated segments for bridal attire and a brand archive.
Tahiliani’s new store has been designed in collaboration with Divya Thakur of Design Temple and features quotes, inspiration, and ephemera accompanying the brand’s clothing.

The store’s bridal fitting rooms are designed to welcome brides-to-be and their families to offer a private shopping experience.
Tahiliani says the store’s tone reflects modern Indian philosophy.
The wallpapers, pichwais, stones used, jaalis having the TT monogram were all sourced from across India.

The ‘Library of Time’ brand archives within the store will display vintage garments while the photographs from the brand’s archives will relate to the story of the label.
It will have swatches, dioramas made like David Hockney sets, and will constantly evolve for a sumptuous peek into different inspirations that the studio has relied on, adds Tahiliani.
The designer also plans to turn the Library of Time into a coffee table book that will celebrate the brand’s upcoming 25th anniversary.
