Snitch introduces innerwear for men, aims for the higher growth trajectory

Men’s wear brand Snitch is looking to grow by 25 per cent a month. Snitch that offers casual and lounge wear and has now entered the innerwear category which encompasses a premium range of briefs and trunks.
Snitch presented a range that is premium yet advanced, when it comes to material, technology and fit choices. The label has ensured all raw materials are chemical-free, anti-microbial, 100 per cent bacterial free and anti-fade and anti-pilling.
Modal blend composition makes Snitch innerwear two times softer than cotton, ensuring day-long comfort. The four-way stretch technology gives the best fit. The brand is also known for its ethical side, as it ensures that all our raw materials are chemical-free. Among the top Indian innerwear firms are Jockey, Dollar, VIP and Lux. The men’s innerwear segment is pegged at around Rs 8,500 crores. With increased disposable income, and changing consumer behavioral patterns, the segment is expected to maintain its current growth rate.
Of the total apparel market, the innerwear category accounts for ten per cent. And, over the next 10 years, it is expected to grow at an annual rate of ten per cent. Innerwear is evolving from being only a functional segment to a fashion one, while also shifting to be a brand-sensitive category from a price-sensitive one.
