Adidas has opened a flagship store in New Delhi. The largest store measures 6800 sqft and houses the brand’s wide selection of sports wear and accessories ranging from football apparel to the brand’s collaborative Stella McCartney collection for women.
The digitally enhanced store aims at creating an unrivaled experience for shoppers, who can customize both clothing and footwear in the interactive lab. The store also gives shoppers exclusive access to its premium Y-3 collection and celebrates the upcoming World Cup with a specially curated football-inspired approach tunnel to the store.
The store has a number of high-tech features, designed to combine digital innovation with unique shopper experiences. Adidas dominates fashion. It’s technically a sports brand and not a fashion brand. But that hardly matters when sports and style have become inseparable and streetwear is blending with high fashion.
Adidas plays a major role in defining what people wear—and what is cool. Its classic styles, such as the Stan Smith, Sambas, and especially the Superstar, have helped drive the big swing toward casual shoes and away from the performance.
