Amit GT launches women’s couture collection at 'India Couture Week'
30th August 2021, Mumbai:
Amit GT presented women’s couture collection ‘Scintilla’ with a fashion film shot at Udaipur’s UdaiVilas at the India Couture Week.
The collection included statuesque gowns and lehengas. Inspired by a return of hope following the darkness of the pandemic, the collection featured the brand’s signature exuberant bustles and trains, played with opulent textures, and had an ethereal aesthetic.
Delicate hand embroidery and bead-work depicted natural elements including flowers, constellations, snowfall, and dew drops. The collection’s color palette was as diverse as the colours in nature itself with occasion wear every hue from deep red to pastel blue and mauve to emerald and aubergine.
India Couture Week is organized by the Fashion Design Council of India in association with the Hindustan Times. The fashion Week’s first went online last year due to the pandemic and this season is it’s second digital edition. India Couture Week runs until August 29 and featured a total of 19 brands.
