Navyasa by Liva ropes in Deepika Padukone as brand amabassador

Newly launched sari brand by the Aditya Birla Group, Navyasa from Liva has roped in Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone as its brand ambassador.
The brand has launched four stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. It plans to expand its retail presence across the country in coming months. Rajnikant Sabnavis, Chief Marketing Officer, Grasim Industries says, the brand aims to make saris the preferred attire for Indian women.

The name has been coined from the two words ‘navya’ meaning new and ‘rasa’ denoting everything that the brand does, he adds. Designer Nanki adds the brand breaks the social stigma on saris being perceived as an attire for older women or occasional wear.
With versatile prints, it empowers women with a new freedom of expression; adventure, boldness. Created by designers Abir and Nanki, with the internal design team at Liva, Navyasa currently offers 17 collections in five different varieties of nature-based Liva fabrics.
