MAS Amity Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of MAS Holdings x Tata Group’s Trent Ltd, India signed a Joint Venture (JV) Agreement on the 20 th of January 2023.
The joint venture (JV) to begin with would facilitate the design and sourcing of related products and, through the period would synergize/pool their domain expertise to undertake the design, development, and production of a variety of ladies' intimate wear/innerwear and other apparel/garment articles.
Desamanya Mahesh Amalean, Chairman, MAS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. on this occasion mentioned that “The significance of our partnership with Tata lies in our shared sense of values and an appreciation of the enormous business opportunities that the Indian market affords".
Also, Noel N Tata, Chairman, of Trent Limited confidently alluded, “We see significant opportunities to leverage the growing reach of our brands to build a differentiated proposition in lingerie, activewear, and related categories".
It has a retail Pan-India footprint of typically between 18,000 - 34,000 sq. ft. across in excess of 127 cities.
