Noida-based sustainable kidswear pioneer, Kidbea, has successfully closed a Rs 30 crore Series A funding round led by Enrission India Capital. Supported by marquee investors including Mamaearth’s Ghazal Alagh and Unacademy’s Roman Saini, this fresh capital injection is designated to accelerate the brand's transition from a digital-first entity to a dominant omnichannel player. The company aims to establish over 100 EBOs and penetrate 200 multi-brand stores across India within the next 24 months, building on its recent successful entries into Pune and Hyderabad.

Operational efficiency and market positioning

While the premium kidswear segment commands higher price points - often 3x that of mass-market alternatives - Kidbea’s focus on climate-adaptive bamboo fiber offers a distinct competitive advantage in India’s tropical climate. The brand's expansion is projected to create up to 700 new jobs and strengthen a regional manufacturing network across Tamil Nadu and Punjab. Despite the challenge of higher raw material costs, the firm remains EBITDA-positive, targeting a revenue milestone of Rs 500 crore by 2027 as it lays the groundwork for a potential public listing by the end of the decade.
