A prominent leader in the premium home textiles segment, Maspar has significantly expanded its metropolitan presence with the inauguration of a 1,300 sq ft flagship experiential store in Andheri, Mumbai.
Located within the design-heavy Laxmi Industrial Estate, the facility marks a transition from traditional retail to a consultative model aimed at Mumbai’s design-conscious demographic. The store integrates ‘Inspiration Zones,’ allowing architects and interior decorators to engage with fully coordinated room concepts. This move aligns with a broader industry shift toward premiumization; according to recent market data, the Indian home textile sector is projected to grow at a 7.08 per cent CAGR (2026–2031), with West India emerging as a critical hub for luxury consumption.
Bridging customization with eco-conscious innovation
The new outlet introduces a dedicated Personalized Styling Assistance service, addressing the increasing consumer appetite for bespoke living environments. Abhinav Mahajan, Director- Retail, Maspar, notes, the showroom serves as a ‘milestone destination’ for professionals seeking high-thread-count solutions and tailor-made textiles. Central to this launch is the ‘Green Thread’ initiative, which incorporates zero-plastic packaging and energy-efficient operations. The collection emphasizes sustainable raw materials, including bamboo-cotton blends, tapping into a market segment where eco-friendly textile demand is rising at over 10 per cent annually. This strategic alignment of luxury and responsibility positions Maspar to capture a larger share of the residential furnishing market, which currently commands 73.75 per cent of the domestic sector's value.
Premium home furnishing evolution
Founded in 2001, Maspar specializes in coordinated soft furnishings, including bed, bath, and table linen. The company operates vertically integrated manufacturing to maintain quality across its 34-city Indian footprint and international markets in France and Canada. With FY2025 revenues reaching Rs 54.8 crore and a 9 per cent growth rate, Maspar is currently expanding its metro-centric ‘experience centers’ to target high-net-worth urban households.
