Bollywood actor Wamiqa Gabbi inaugurated the new flagship store for the premium bridal and designer wear brand, Kalki in Ludhiana Punjab.
The opening marks a significant milestone for the brand, expanding its national presence and bringing its signature collections closer to the fashion-forward clientele of Punjab.
Known for her powerful performances in projects like ‘Jubilee’ and ‘Grahan,’ Gabbi cut the ribbon to officially open the expansive retail space. Dressed in a stunning ensemble from Kalki’s newest bridal line - a richly embroidered lehenga in deep emerald- the actress captivated the attendees, embodying the elegance and traditional artistry the brand is celebrated for.

Strategically located in a prime commercial area, the new store is designed as a luxury destination and spans several floors. It houses the brand’s entire spectrum of offerings, including bridal couture, festive wear, prêt-a-porter lines, and accessories. The interiors blend contemporary design with traditional motifs, creating an opulent and comfortable shopping experience aimed at assisting clients through their bridal and celebratory selections.
According to the brand's executives, the Ludhiana launch is part of a broader strategy to solidify Kalki’s footprint in key North Indian markets, which are major centers for luxury and wedding shopping. The store will cater to the discerning tastes of consumers seeking exclusive designer pieces and personalized styling services, they emphasized.
