Vintage business by entrepreneur and stylist Divya Saini, Bodemens launched its first upcycled collection ‘Nilam’ at luxury department store Galeries Lafayette in Paris, France. As per Fashion Network, a 22-piece collection, Nilam features dresses, blazers, kimonos, and suits upcycled from Indian saris.
The collection was launched in association with the vintage platform CrushOn. It is designed to celebrate Indian textile heritage with a mix of contemporary and vintage-inspired silhouettes.
Each piece is unique and customers can choose any design from the collection to have made in a different print sari. Bodements also make scrunchies from fabric scraps to reduce waste. Besides, the business has also partnered with NGO Green Yatra to plant two trees for each Bodements garment purchased,
Entrepreneur and stylist Divya Saini launched Bodements in 2015. The business retails vintage clothing sourced from around the world on its dedicated e-commerce store and calls itself “India’s largest vintage store,” according to its website.
