Raw Mango has launched a collection called Peacock Country. The collection is based on the Urdu play InderSabha, which tells the story of a love affair between a prince and a fairy. The collection is very rooted in Indian craftsmanship and history, with a focus on embroidery and traditional techniques.

Raw Mango uses films as a medium for storytelling. The collection itself embodies Raw Mango’s distinctive design and is deeply rooted in Indian workmanship and tradition. With holiday silhouettes in mind, embroidery is heavily emphasised. For the first time, intricate gold motifs have been created that drew inspiration from Rajputana and Mughal art and architecture.

Raw Mango, launched in 2008 by Sanjay Garg and based in New Delhi, is known for its handloom saris and textiles. With roots in craft and community, Raw Mango's relationship with handloom began as an investigation of possibilities.

As a design house, it continues to create new conversations in textile, culture, and politics through a range of saris, garments, and objects. Created with karigars across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, and Varanasi, Raw Mango’s designs innovate upon century-old skills in pursuit of defining a new aesthetic vocabulary. Raw Mango draws from the colors, philosophies, and cultures of India.
