Bata India to bolster ‘Power’ presence with 50 new EBOs
Prominent footwear brand, Bata India is set to bolster its presence in the sportswear and lifestyle market with the expansion of its 'Power' brand. The company aims to inaugurate more than 50 exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) by 2025-end to cater to the burgeoning demand for athleisure among contemporary Indian consumers.
Emphasising the global stature of the ‘Power’ brand and rising interest in athleisure in India, Gunjan Shah, Managing Director and CEO, Bata India, states, setting up 50 EBOs for Power by 2025 will help Bata ensure a top-notch shopping experience for its fitness-conscious consumers.
Pietro Schira, Chief Brand Officer, Bata Group, adds, the launch of these EBOs will help bolster Power’s global presence. It will grant Indian consumers unprecedented access to the brand’s cutting-edge products, addressing local needs for international-grade technology in high-performance footwear and apparel.
Besides expanding its retail network, Bata is also diversifying its product range under the 'Power' brand and intends to fortify it further by introducing innovative offerings in the Indian market.
