Accessories, homeware, and lifestyle brand Chumbak plan to expand its offline operations by opening around 50 new brick-and-mortar stores across India in the coming two to three years.
The brand aims to target Tier II locations in Jaipur, Tamil Nadu, and the Northeastern states this year as part of its aggressive expansion plan Vasant Nangia, CEO, Chumbak says, the brand plans to set up over 100 stores in the next two to three years.

It also plans to recruit more people as store managers, merchandising staff, product staff, etc.

The plan to expand offline follows a challenging pandemic where the brand had to close down around 17 of its stores as they could not remain financially viable in the face of lockdowns, bringing its total store count from 70 to 53.
However, the brand believes, the current situation is apt for the brand to expand once more.
