Cotton trouser imports in the United States totalled $8.75 billion from January to September of this year

After experiencing a decrease in cotton trousers imports in 2020 over 2019, the United States has seen an increase in 2021.
According to OTEXA statistics, cotton trousers imports by the United States increased by 30.71 percent to the US $ 8.75 billion from January to September of this year. Bangladesh remains the biggest exporter of cotton pants to the United States, with exports totaling the US $ 1.83 billion in the indicated period, up 23.60 percent year on year.
Vietnam, on the other hand, exported the US $ 1.52 billion worth of cotton pants to the United States, an increase of 21% year on year.
China's participation has dropped from US$ 2.36 billion in 2019 to barely US$ 1.23 billion in the first nine months of 2021. Mexico (the US $ 670.21 million), Pakistan (the US $ 619.43 million), Cambodia (the US $ 444.72 million), and Indonesia (the US $ 438.35 million) all did well, with 52.85%, 79.54 percent, 24.74 percent, and 24.25 percent growth, respectively.
India is ranked 8th on the list and has been coming up quickly, with a 52 percent annual increase in cotton trouser shipments to the United States from January to September of this year, totaling US $ 253.69 million.
