Myntra 15th edition of the ‘End of Reason Sale' (EORS) event experiences impressive growth in site traffic 'Day 1'

18 December 2021, Mumbai:

Fashion e-commerce platform Myntra witnessed a 45 percent growth in site traffic on the inaugural day of the 15th edition of the ‘End of Reason Sale' (EORS) event.

Myntra also witnessed 40 percent growth in new users and claims that it sold 7 lakh items within the first three hours of the sale event.

Around 53 percent of the shoppers were from tier 2 and tier 3 cities, and beyond. Among the metros, Delhi led the way followed by Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune.

Commenting on the opening of EORS, Sharon Pais, chief business officer at Myntra in a statement said, “Day one of EORS-15 has been phenomenal. With 1.6 million shoppers so far and over 40 percent growth in new users shopping on Myntra over the previous winter edition, day 1 of EORS-15 has broadly exceeded our as well as our brand partners’ expectations.

“We are witnessing a marked preference among shoppers across the country, including in non-metro cities, to try out new brands, styles and personal care products with greater enthusiasm, coupled with an increase in basket size, and that gives us the confidence and encouragement to curate and offer more.

With Christmas and New Year-round the corner, we expect this shopping spree to continue till the end of the six-day event,” Pais added. Myntra 's six-day EORS event will end on December 23.
