Helena Kuylenstierna, Global Managing Director-Kidswear has been appointed as the new director for H&M India. She will operate from the brand’s head office in Bengaluru, as per a media release.
Aiming to drive significant growth and profitability for H&M India, Kuylenstierna has over 24 years of experience at the brand. She joined a company in 2001 and has led various positions including Assortment Manager & Head-Kids, Global Purchasing Manager-Shanghai and Head-Buying & Production, Arket.
Kuylenstierna says, the brand aims to maximise the opportunities offered by the Indian market to improve local customer relevance and optimise growth. It will continue to democratise fashion and offer enhanced collections allowing customers to celebrate self-expression, she adds.
In India, H&M operates in 64 stores across 29 cities and is present online on HM.com, Myntra.com and Ajio.com.
