Fineotex, a global chemical company, has joined The ZDHC Foundation's Roadmap to Zero initiative
4th October 2021, Mumbai:
Fineotex Chemical Limited, recognized for high-quality chemicals for the textile industry, has joined The ZDHC Foundation's Roadmap to Zero Programme as a donor, recognizing the urgent need to totally eradicate all types of industrial emissions of hazardous chemicals into the environment.
The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Foundation, a partnership of leading fashion companies, value chain affiliates, and organizations, oversees the execution of the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme.
The Mumbai-based firm said in a statement that it has joined the program because it is devoted to the cause of the earth and people with a common sustainable aim for a brighter future. Fineotex products used in the textile industry have all been verified as being free of hazardous chemicals, making the textile chemical supply chain more environmentally friendly than ever.
Going ahead, the company's whole product line, which serves a wide range of sectors, will have a much-reduced chemical footprint.
SASMIRA will also house the company's new R&D facility, which will focus on developing greener chemistry. “We are empowering every point in the value chain towards safer production, and we are creating a new status quo,” says ZDHC.
Our vibrant, determined community contributes to the industry's environmental impact reduction. We aim to construct a brighter future for everyone, one step at a time,” the firm stated.
