03 December 2021, Mumbai:
Aneeth Arora’s sustainable fashion brand Pero has launched a new edition of its interactive event ‘Week of Love’ in New Delhi to promote sustainability and celebrate the brand’s archives.
Pero’s Week of Love exhibition launched its latest edition on December 2 at the Patparganj Industrial Area in New Delhi, the brand announced on Facebook. The week of interactive events, sales, and showcases will run until December 9.
As part of Pero’s goal of reducing textile waste and promoting sustainable fashion, the Week of Love will feature designs from previous seasons where the brand has unsold stock alongside its latest designs.
The brand is promoting the event with the tagline, “relive, revisit, and relive.” Alongside shopping and showcases, the event will feature kulad chai and hot chocolates by ‘Jugmug Thela’ which serves its warm beverages in a pot that can be recycled as a flower pot.
The brand also recently released its winter 2021/ 2022 collection ‘Mini’ in its stores and retail outlets across India and internationally, including at the Week of Love. The bright, playful collection features crochet garments made by a group of Afghani refugee craftspeople and a wide range of textile techniques used to create whimsical patterns and prevent textile waste.
