Moscow Fashion Week, held from October 4 to 9, brought together over 80 designers from around the world, including countries like Russia, India, China, UAE, Indonesia and South Africa. Among the standout moments was the participation of Nitin Bal Chauhan, a New Delhi-based designer presented by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). His collection attracted significant attention, marking India's growing presence in the Russian fashion market.
Sunil Sethi, Chairman of FDCI, emphasized India’s potential in Russia, pointing to Russian consumers' increasing demand for unique, handcrafted fashion. Sethi remarked that Indian designers, through events like the BRICS+ Fashion Summit, could tap into this market with collections that blend India’s rich heritage with modern aesthetics.
