Reebok India has appointed Manoj Juneja new chief operating officer (COO). As per a Indian Television report, Juneja has over 23 years of experience in strategic roles in retail, digital channel sales, marketing, and has led successful brands for over nine years. He is an expert in strategic planning, digital strategy, leading big teams, channel sales and retail operations and marketing.

Previously he was associated with Timex Group India as vice president sales and marketing and the adidas Group for over 13 years as Senior Director, Sales and E-commerce. He was also associated with LG Electronics India. In his current role with Reebok, Juneja will oversee wholesale, e-commerce, and Reebok branded retail stores in India. Reebok is sold in India and other SouthEast Asian countries by Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL) which acquired the US-based brand management company Authentic Brands Group (ABG) in 2019.

03 June 2022, Mumbai:

Ecommerce platform Myntra has bagged the rights for master distribution and management of global women's fashion brand bebe in India.

Myntra will assist the fashion brand in wholesale distribution through a network of third-party franchise partners and distributors. Bebe aims to set up five brand outlets and ten shops in shops over the year across 3 cities, it shared.

With this, Myntra has further strengthened its international licensed brands portfolio.

The retailer had earlier partnered with fashion and lifestyle brands such as Mango, Nautica, H & M, and Slazenger and assists them in distributing their products in India.

Through its partnership with Myntra, bebe aims to cater to the mass premium segment with an extensive range of apparel across categories. The fashion brand will particularly target women in metros and tier 1 cities and establish a strong customer base.

Held over a course of five days, Lulu Fashion Week brought together over 40 brands in Kochi and organized around 30 fashion shows s to showcase summer fashions, increase brand visibility, and drive mall footfalls.

Organized by UAE-Based Lulu Group International, the fashion week ran from May 25 to 29 at Lulu Mall in Kochi.

The event was held in partnership with clothing brand Peter England and featured womenswear, menswear, and children’s wear.

Men’s western wear brand Oxemberg presented a collection of smart casual ensembles on the final day of the fashion week with bright shirts and tailored trousers.

Womenswear brand Only also showcased a range of western wear, with summery hues, printed dresses, and modern separates. Sin Denim was also on the bill on Sunday, presenting everything from distressed denim to dark wash.

Other brands which participated in the fashion week included accessories brand Vip Bags, men’s, women’s, and children’s wear brand Classic Polo, western wear brand Crimsoune Club, womenswear brand Caprese Girl, and children’s wear brand Ruff Kids among others. Runway shows were held in front of a public audience and were also broadcast on Lulu Mall’s YouTube channel.

02 June 2022, Mumbai:

The consolidated net profit of Campus Active wear grew by over three-fold to Rs 39.60 crore during the fourth quarter ended March 2022. The shoemaker, which was listed on BSE earlier this month, had posted a net profit of Rs 10.01 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago.

The brand’s revenues from operations rose by 28.07 per cent to Rs 352.33 crore against Rs 275.10 crore in the year-ago period.

The company's total expenses grew by 31.05 per cent to Rs 295.30 croret in Q4 FY22 compared to Rs 225.32 crore in Q4 FY21.

For the entire fiscal ended March 2022, Campus Active wear's net profit was up over four-fold to Rs 124.41 crore. It had reported a net profit of Rs 26.86 crore in the previous fiscal.

Its revenue from operations was Rs 1,194.18 crore in 2021-22. This is 67.89 per cent higher than Rs 711.28 crore in FY21.
