Abhishek Gupta is the new chief financial officer (CFO) of Myntra.

He is currently the head of finance, Flipkart Wholesale and Walmart India. He began his stint with the Flipkart Group in 2018, joining as director, business finance, coming from Unilever, where he worked for close to six years, for various verticals and across geographies.

In his new role, Gupta will be responsible for the finance division and lead business partnering and strategic growth initiatives at Myntra. He is a chartered accountant and seasoned leader with over 16 years of experience in the e-commerce and FMCG industries.

Walmart-owned online fashion retailer Myntraexpects about seven lakh new customers on its platform during the ongoing End of Reason Sale (EORS), being held from December 18 to 23, 2021, with participation from more than 5,000 brands.

The event is slated to cater to the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle needs of over 40 lakh customers across the country. About 45 percent of the overall traffic is expected to come from TierII and III cities and towns. Expanding its Omni network further, Myntra has integrated over 350 brands and 2,900-plus stores across the country. Omni-channel services are being offered in over 42 cities and across 1.4 lakh styles.
