01 December 2021, Mumbai:
Ensemble, a multi-brand luxury Indian fashion shop, will host a launch event for womenswear brand Patine from December 7 to 8 at its Kala Ghoda store in Mumbai to present its current collection.
Ensemble announced on Facebook that Patine's current collection of structured jackets with lavishly embroidered accents would be launched next week with a special installation. Attendees will also get the opportunity to speak with the designer of the brand about the clothing and how to dress them.
Patine's latest collection has hand embroidered winter blooms in Gara stitch in a color scheme of black, white, light pink, and spring green. The line, which features the brand's uniquely modern approach to traditional embroidery, reimagines old Gara motifs in stylized proportions to produce a graphic impact.
A 'Gulmohar Gara Mughal Jacket' with a flowery trellis in Aari stitch and a 'Delnaz Mughal Jacket' with an embroidered garden are two notable products from the brand's line. Patine will join a number of Ensemble brands, including Lovebirds, Chola, and En Inde.
Patine was formed by Shon Randhawa, Chand Balbir Singh, and Geeti Mehra as a heritage revivalist label specializing in structured jackets and traditional artisan processes. The brand sells its products online through its own website.
