Between January and September of this year, the United States procured $1.80 billion in children's clothing

According to OTEXA data, the United States imports of children's clothing climbed by 30.18 percent to US $ 1.80 billion from January to September of this year. During the indicated time, all major Asian clothing exporting destinations had a Y-o-Y increase in their respective exports of kidswear, with China leading the list.
During the study period, China accounted for the US $ 463.25 million in kidswear imports from the United States, an increase of 37.85% on a year-over-year basis.
Vietnam continued to outperform India in terms of kidswear exports to the United States, earning US $ 274.77 million in export earnings, up 32.68 percent year on year, while India earned the US $ 259.53 million from its respective kidswear exports to the United States, up 45.40 percent year on year.
Bangladesh had a strong showing in the United States, shipping $ 190.92 million in kidswear (up 24.62%) from January to September of this year.
The favorable sourcing of children's clothing by the United States is expected to continue through the end of the year since the Christmas shopping season in the United States begins in October.
