Khajoor, a new knitwear company, debuts with the 'Move' collection

25 November 2021, Mumbai:

Muskan Soni, a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, has started the knitwear brand Khajoor with its first collection, 'Move,' which features hand-knitted clothing and accessories.

Khajoor's inaugural collection includes thick knitwear in natural tones, geometric patterns, and a modern spin on the old look.

The collection, which includes roll-neck sweaters, sweater dresses, cardigans, beanies, and crochet sets in natural lahauli wool, is meant as a collection of timeless pieces, according to Soni. The brand stated on Facebook that it is now accepting pre-orders for its debut collection via direct message on Facebook and Instagram, as well as messaging app WhatsApp.

The brand just released a little fashion video to promote its collection, which contains Sessa's music and honors the artisans who created the brand's initial outfits. Khajoor, which is called after the Hindi word for date palm tree, has been posting images of its artists on Facebook and Instagram to demonstrate their commitment to generating long-term jobs for artisans in Himachal Pradesh.

Soni told Not Just a Label about the brand, "The brand seeks to mindfully develop products that promote legacy via time-honored craft skills, materials, and craftsmen of the nation." "Being mindful of the environment in which we live, supporting the local textile industry, and empowering craftsmen while making a good influence on them and their communities are among our key beliefs."
