About the National Conclave on Technical Textiles – Protech (Protective textiles)

With the government’s increased focus on Atmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India, and the thrust for modernization of armed forces, there is a huge potential for protective textiles in India. In spite of the boost in technical textiles manufacturing and exports in the country, huge quantities of protective textiles are imported to meet the demand, particularly in the defense sector.

Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) and The Indian Technical Textile Association (ITTA) are jointly organizing the “National Conclave on Technical Textiles – Protech” with support of the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
