This is a big one and can be a game changer making India 'Global Export Hub' as today Modi Govt big bang announcement by clearing Rs 4,445-crore nod under 'PM MITRA Yojana' to set up 7 mega textile parks.
What is striking about this is that,"The PM MITRA will be developed by a special purpose vehicle (SPV) owned by state governments and the central government in PPP mode which is imaginatively designed to work".
To put it in perspective Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel Parks (PM MITRA) was enthusiastically announced earlier in the Union Budget for 2021-22.

The parks will be set up at greenfield/brownfield sites located in different states shown to have willingness & acceptance, though hard work will just start now because it would as a necessary condition a particular level of infrastructure there to take this initiative to the logical conclusion.
Proposals of state governments having ready availability of contiguous and encumbrance-free land parcels of 1,000 plus acres along with other textiles related facilities ecosystem are welcome, as envisioned by the center and enshrined in the preamble of this architecture.
