DAISO Japan: Now in Mumbai!

DAISO Japan entered the Indian market through a strategic alliance between Apparel Group India Pvt Ltd. and Lals international holdings ltd. Japanese lifestyle value retail concept store DAISO Japan is expanding its footprint in India with its store launch in Mumbai.

Commenting on the launch, the President of Apparel Group India, Tushar Ved said, “Over the last five decades, DAISO Japan has focused on building a formidable assortment of products for consumers.

With over 6000 stores worldwide DAISO Japan is accredited as a variety value store selling a wide range of lifestyle products.

The store boasts an array of items ranging from organization solutions, bakeware, dinnerware, cleaning tools, and stationery to DIY tools.

The brand launched its first store in Chandigarh, followed by Lucknow and Vasai in Mumbai, Phoenix Marketcity Kurla marks this as its 4th store in India.

ABFRL: Announces partnership with Galeries Lafayette

Aditya Birla Group x Galeries Lafayette to open India’s first luxury department store.

The 90,000 square feet flagship store in Mumbai is expected to be operational by 2024. Speaking about the partnership, Ashish Dikshit, Managing Director, of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited said, “This is a coming-of-age moment for Indian luxury. India is now home to a generation of young and affluent consumers with global exposure, who are willing to spend on the finer things in life.

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL) enters into a strategic partnership with Galeries Lafayette, renowned globally for its flagship location at Boulevard Haussmann in Paris.

The 65,000 square feet store in Delhi, expected to be operational in 2025, will be at DLF Emporio, one of India’s largest luxury malls.

Galeries Lafayette’s experience-focused design and proposition around entertainment, and technology, the stores will provide a 360-degree retail experience that speaks directly to customer’s needs.
