Language launched a new Store in Lulu Global Mall, Bengaluru.

Language, a leading homegrown leather footwear and accessories brand with an international presence for men and women are proud to announce the opening of its first store in Bengaluru.

The new store is located at Lulu Global Mall which is the biggest mall in the city.

Hong Fu Indl Grp, Taiwanese footwear mfr to invest in TN

12 April 2022, Mumbai:

Taiwanese footwear manufacturer Hong Fu Industrial Group will invest Rs 1,000 crore over the next five years to set up a factory in Tamil Nadu.

As per the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the Tamil Nadu government, the plant will employ 20,000, mostly women, and manufacture non-leather-based footwear that does not require much water.

The unit will export footwear from global brands like Nike, Puma, Converse and Vans. It also has plants in China and Vietnam.

The investments would be made in phases over the next three to five years and the unit would also boost footwear exports from the State.

It will give a major impetus to the footwear production and export in the State. Hong Fu serves a host of global footwear brands such as Nike, Puma, and Converse, among others.

Aranyani, Luxe handbag label launched in NY

11 April 2022, Mumbai:

Amalgamating traditional Indian craftsmanship, contemporary format, and design, India’s Consulate General launched its first luxury handbag brand, Aranyani in New York.

Denoting the goddess of forest in Sanskrit, the collection focuses on the ‘Make in India' initiative of the government.

Lifestyle brand Pero uses video content to showcase latest collection

12 April 2022, Mumbai:

Aneeth Arora’s sustainable fashion and lifestyle brand Pero uses video content to showcase its latest womenswear and menswear collection Up.

Created in collaboration with Nikhil D, Creative Director and Co-Founder, Feat Artists, the collection adopts an all-encompassing approach to cater to consumers looking for more engaging content.

The collection features large floral prints mixed with Pero’s signature check textiles. It features layered prints with white backgrounds and the brand’s signature oversized silhouettes.

IHGF Delhi Fair received solid business enquiries

07 April 2022, Mumbai:

The recently concluded 53rd edition of the IHGF Delhi Fair received business enquiries worth Rs 3, 650 crore.

The fair was attended by 4,856 buyers and buying representatives from 92 countries and around 2,596 exhibitors presented their collections.

The show focused on sustainability as buyers sought eco-friendly and compliant ranges in home and lifestyle products. European buyers sourced interesting regular use bags as alternatives to plastics, amongst other home products.
