IKEA opens first big box format store in Bengaluru

22nd June 2022, Mumbai:

IKEA, a leading Swedish home furnishings retailer, opened the doors to its largest store in India so far, at Nagasandra in Bengaluru today.

The Nagasandra Store in Bengaluru is IKEA's fourth store in India.

The three other IKEA stores are located in Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, and Worli City Store, respectively.

Multi-brand luxury fashion platform The Luxe Maison has expanded its online couture offering by launching a wide range of new brands on its e-commerce store. Luxe Maison currently has 50 brands from 20 countries. It offers a range of luxury ready-to-wear as well as couture garments, enabling shoppers to order made-to-measure ensembles from the Indian and international designers online.

The new brands launched by the platform are from France, Lebanon, Israel and Portugal. These include Farah Naz, Letoit, Matsour’I, Gaby Charbachy and Tarik Ediz. Through these brands, the platform aims to introduce Indian and international couture brands to a global audience. The platform also offers payment facilities in currencies of various countries.

Reliance Industries may buy out Revlon Inc in the United States, days after the cosmetics giant filed for bankruptcy, ET Now reported on Friday, citing sources.

Mukesh Ambani-led Indian oil-to-retail conglomerate is now mulling bidding for a cosmetics maker that filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the United States.
