Officially trained in the field of Law, Aanchal Saini turned her head from her successful law practice towards her longing desire to pursue a career in fashion.

Entrepreneur Aanchal is currently serving as the CEO of the FLYROBE, India’s first and largest fashion rental company. “The world is moving towards a shared economy and here at FLYROBE we are capitalizing on this consumer behaviour shift in the fashion industry for the past 5 years says, Aanchal Saini.

She founded RENT IT BAE in 2016 as a luxury fashion rental service offering ethenic, western accessories from designer labels & brands on rent at a fraction of cost.

She acquired Flyrobe in 2019 with a vision to multiply the business by 10X. 

Her core belief is that “Sustainable Fashion can transform the world with the offering of the mushrooming of the fashion rental industry.

Thus, catering to a mass audience through omnichannel expansion in the country and overseas is certainly a vision that will be a reality soon. Prior to establishing her love for fashion sustainability, she was a practising lawyer at Delhi High Court for 7 years.

Her key accomplishments include - setting up the Delhi International Arbitration Centre and becoming a true fashion rental aficionado. And gained wide recognition for setting up the Delhi International arbitration centre from scratch and eventually leading it to great heights.

Various media organisations- both print and online have published about the brand. Aanchal is also a Member of Facebook.

Nykaa x Aveda: Plan to open salon stores

27 July 2022, Mumbai:

Premium personal care retailer Nykaa brings makeup, cosmetics & beauty product offers, and international haircare brand Aveda plan to open their joint shop and salon after opening their first in Bengaluru in spring.

Premium personal care retailer Nykaa has remained unaffected by the consumption slowdown as consumers are not yet cutting back on discretionary items like skincare and cosmetics.

ONDC: Tech investors advise their portfolio firms to join

20 July 2022, Mumbai:

Big tech investors such as Japan’s SoftBank and Sequoia Capital India have advised their portfolio firms to join the government’s Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), multiple people briefed on the matter said.

ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) intends to enable Kirana and the value chain to run digital storefronts transparently with broader logistics and inventory options, analysts posit as the pilot continues in the early days.

The open network for digital commerce (ONDC ). The government-backed initiative aimed at curbing digital monopolies is working on a framework for an in-house settlement system.

Amazon India x UP government: Strive to digitise local businesses

05 July 2022, Mumbai:

Amazon India has signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) the backbone of the state economy and Export Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP) to facilitate by state intervention local businesses in the state digitize their business to build scale & scope.

To develop the state into a readymade garments hub, the Uttar Pradesh government is setting up an ‘Apparel Park’ in Noida.

The government also plans to set up flatted factory complexes in Agra, Gorakhpur, and Kanpur in the next 100 days, besides setting up units of garment production.

In addition to this, the government will set up 115 export-oriented textile units in the state over the next few months. It will attract an estimated investment of Rs 3,000 crore and create jobs for several lakh persons.
