Jimmy Choo has launched an exclusive capsule collection for the Indian market.
The collection features a perfect amalgam of sparkle and glamour and a glittering interpretation of the brand’s classic Bing 100 shoes complete with a jewellery-esque crystal strap and slender heel. The Bon Bon evening bag has also been given a champagne sandy glitter fabric.
Jimmy Choo has held a number of exclusive launches for the Indian market. In 2021, the brand teamed up with celebrity Rhea Kapoor to launch its Core Collection in the country. More recently, the brand launched its Varenne Avenue handbag line in India. Jimmy Choo retails in India through five stores located across Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Bangalore. The luxury accessories brand opened its first store in India in 2007.
Jimmy Choo is upbeat about the luxury footwear brand’s prospects and is working hard to widen its appeal to millennial consumers as well as retain its core, slightly older customer base. The company has expanded its accessories design team and will transition out of older accessories groups.
Jimmy Choo believes there is a meaningful opportunity to expand its global presence with a particular focus on Asia. The new team is working diligently to introduce multiple new collections over the coming seasons.
